Sureserve Energy Services is pleased to announce our partnership with Pembrokeshire County Council for lots 3 and 4 of its Retrofit of Homes project. This initiative, set to run for two years, will see us delivering vital low carbon heating and ventilation upgrades to homes across the region, further strengthening our presence in south Wales.
The project, valued between £2-3 million, will focus on the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems. These technologies will play a crucial role in improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting the transition to low-carbon heating solutions.
Scope of Works
- ASHPs – A renewable heating solution that extracts heat from the air to efficiently warm homes, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering energy bills.
- MVHR – A system designed to improve indoor air quality while capturing and reusing heat, ensuring homes remain warm and energy-efficient.
This initiative is backed by the Optimised Retrofit Programme, funded by the Welsh Government, which aims to decarbonise housing stock across Wales. By participating in this programme, we are contributing to the wider goal of making homes more energy-efficient and future-proofing housing against climate challenges.
With a well-established presence in south Wales, this project builds on our previous work in the region, reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable housing solutions. We are excited to collaborate with Pembrokeshire County Council and play a key role in transforming homes for a greener future.
